About Therapy With Rachel Turetzky
When You Understand the Pattern and It Keeps Running
You can explain yourself well. The history, the pattern, the reason the pattern made sense when it formed: you’ve read about it, thought it through, and said it out loud to a therapist already.
And the explanation sits there, accurate and inert.
There are periods when nothing is obviously falling apart and something still feels profoundly unsettled. What surfaces then is large: the direction of your life, your relationships, your identity, your spirituality, what you want the next chapter to mean.
Insight that good should have moved something by now. Whatever is actually organizing your life is operating somewhere your explanation hasn’t reached.
Go Past the Version of the Story You Already Know
Therapy with Rachel makes room for the territory underneath the account you’ve already assembled.
That means getting curious about the beliefs, patterns, emotional experiences, dreams, assumptions, and unconscious influences that shape how you experience yourself and the world.
Dreams get taken seriously here. So does the sentence you said quickly and moved past.
The work aims at the material generating the symptom in the first place.

Why the Science and the Larger Questions Belong Together
Scientific thinking has a place here. So do questions of meaning. Neither one has to be smuggled in past the other.
Rachel stays practical and grounded while exploring parts of human experience that are harder to measure. Spirituality, transformation, and what your life is asking from you all belong in the hour.
Grounding is what makes the exploring worth doing. With enough floor underneath it, going deep takes you somewhere.
Your Psychedelic or Ketamine Experience Becomes Part of Your Actual Life
Psychedelic and ketamine-assisted experiences deliver more than you can take in on your own.
Weeks later the edges blur. You can describe exactly what happened and still have no idea what it wants from you.
That is what integration is for: translating an intense experience into something that actually becomes part of everyday life. What it showed you, what it asked of you, and which parts of it are worth building around.
Without integration, an experience like that stays an interesting event that happened once.

About Rachel Turetzky, PhD, CYT
Hi, I’m Rachel. I’m a clinical psychologist, and my work is grounded in depth psychology and an integrative understanding of healing.
My style is curious, open, and collaborative, and I feel equally at home with psychological science and with questions of meaning, spirituality, and transformation. I want therapy to provide enough grounding for exploration to remain useful and meaningful.
The doctorate is in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Depth Psychology, from Pacifica Graduate Institute. I also have specialized training in ketamine-assisted psychotherapy and psychedelic integration.
I’m a certified yoga teacher and the co-author of 8-Circuit Ascension: A Guide to Metaprogramming the Multidimensional Self.
Understand Yourself Well Enough to Live Differently
Depth work here has a destination: more clarity, more self-trust, more meaning, and more freedom in how you actually live.
If the distance between understanding yourself and changing anything is what you’d bring in, that is exactly the right thing to bring.

Tell Us Where You’d Like This to Move
You don’t need the whole thing figured out before you write to us.
Some people know exactly which kind of therapy they want. Others know only that something isn’t working anymore, and that’s enough to start with.
Tell us what’s been going on, what you’ve already tried, and what you’d like to feel different. We’ll think it through with you and point you toward the therapist and the approach that fit.
You’ve done plenty of understanding already, and now it’s worth finding out what gets it moving.
